A few months ago we got an exciting email from U.S. Eventing Team member Sydney Elliott. Could we make U.S. flag pins for her team to wear at the upcoming Pan American Games in Santiago, Chile?
We jumped right on this fun opportunity, working to make a great pin that captured the energy and iconography of the American flag that would pop on a horse show number. The result was our Stars and Stripes Pin.
They got here with a few weeks to spare, and we shipped a package off to Sydney to share with her teammates.
What a thrill it was to see the team wearing our pins in this big international competition--and even more thrilling to see them come home with medals! The team, featuring Sydney, Liz Halliday-Sharp, Sharon White, and Caroline Pamukcu, won the silver medal in the team competition. Pamukcu was the individual gold medalist.
