Pinsnickety's Great Washingon: In the Costume Class, the Show Ring, and the Gift Shop.

We loved being a part of the Washington International Horse Show.
Not just because of the costume class, but it was definitely a highlight. We sponsored a prize for the class's winner--Daniel Bluman. But we were also absolutely delighted to see our pins in the ring as part of several costumes. Here's Grace Debney as the Mother of Dragons (with her dragon Zarina).
Can you see her Pinsnickety Dragon horse show number pins? (Photo credit to Shawn McMillen Photography and WIHS.) Grace won the award for the best costume of the class, and we can see why.
And here's Brianne Goutal-Marteau as a unicorn, wearing Flying Unicorn pins, of course.
We sponsored prizes for the champions of the Children's Jumpers, Adult Jumpers, Low Junior/Amateur Jumpers, Medium Junior/Amateur Jumpers and High Junior Amateur Jumpers. Congratulations to Emma Brody, Lindsey Tomeau, Ellie Ferrigno (twice!), and Skylar Wireman on your wins. Here's a shot we love of Lindsey and her amazing Gold Lux, who won at Washington after winning the NAL finals a few weeks earlier.
And... for the first time ever, those prizes were Pinsnickety *Custom pins, made just for the event. They were also for sale in the horse show gift shop and in evidence on a few show numbers during the week. We hope they made a special memento.
We'll be at the National Horse Show next, where we're sponsoring prizes for class winners in the Junior and Amateur/Owner Jumpers. Good luck to everyone showing there!
